How we can help
The psychologists at Eucalyptus offer evidence-based psychological therapies for depression and mood difficulties, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and psychodynamic approaches. Where presentations are more complex or where medication may be appropriate, the psychiatrists at Eucalyptus provide assessment and medication management.
The psychiatrists at Eucalyptus have a particular interest in complex mood presentations and take a careful, longitudinal approach, working to understand the full picture before making treatment recommendations. Where both psychological and psychiatric support are helpful, your practitioners can communicate with each other directly about your care, with your consent.
Getting help
You can self-refer to see one of the psychologists at Eucalyptus. A GP referral is required to see a psychiatrist and to access Medicare rebates for psychiatric consultations.
