About Dr Niki Heath
Niki completed a combined Masters of Psychology (Clinical) and PhD at Melbourne University. She has over a decade of experience in both private practice and public mental health settings.
Niki works with adolescents and adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, sexuality and gender concerns, trauma, psychosis, bipolar disorders, and personality disorders.
She uses a variety of evidence-based techniques, including Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, exposure therapy, motivational interviewing, anxiety management, and psychoeducation. She works with clients to identify approaches that suit their needs.
Niki’s therapeutic style is compassionate, warm, patient and collaborative. She works to empower clients, helping them to explore their concerns, identify strengths, develop greater self-acceptance, personal insight, and take positive steps towards their life and recovery goals.
