About Kylie Saab

She is a Board-approved Clinical Supervisor and is deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of psychologists with the same care, integrity, and values she brings to her client work.
Kylie has practiced for over 15 years across major psychiatric hospitals, university training environments, and private community practice.
Background
Kylie is a Clinical Psychologist registered with AHPRA and completed her Clinical Psychology training through the Cairnmiller Institute, graduating with distinction. Her capstone work focused on treatment-resistant depression, reflecting her longstanding interest in complex presentations and clinical decision-making.
She has extensive experience working in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, including senior roles at The Sydney Clinic, a private psychiatric and drug and alcohol rehabilitation hospital. There, Kylie worked with individuals presenting with complex mood disorders, trauma, personality vulnerabilities, and substance-use difficulties, and held leadership roles coordinating mindfulness-based therapies, DBT programs, ACT groups, and skills-based interventions.
Alongside her hospital work, Kylie has maintained a long-standing private practice providing individual, couples, and group therapy across the lifespan. Her clinical interests include trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship challenges, personality patterns, and working with clients seeking deeper meaning, values-based change, and recovery from entrenched difficulties.
Kylie is actively involved in training and supervision and has served as a Clinical Supervisor within the University of New England Clinical Psychology Masters Program. She has also held academic and adjunct roles, contributed to course development and professional training programs, and regularly supervises psychologists across multiple registration pathways.
Her professional development is extensive and includes advanced training in ACT, DBT, RO-DBT, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, and psychedelic-assisted therapy and integration frameworks (including psilocybin and MDMA-assisted models). Kylie is also a published author and remains engaged with contemporary research, supervision, and reflective practice.
