About Dr Florence Morley
Florence strives to offer psychiatric care that feels collaborative, respectful, and empowering. She recognises the vulnerability and complexity that often accompany seeking mental health support, and aims to provide a space of shared understanding where experiences can be explored with care and curiosity.
She works with patients to explore the underlying influences on their mental health, integrating thorough assessment into ongoing therapeutic work rather than offering isolated, standalone assessments. Florence is also comfortable working as part of a broader support network, incorporating insights from those who know you well. Care may include medication management, identifying support needs, connecting with appropriate allied health services, and helping to build a sustainable framework for ongoing wellbeing.
Florence warmly welcomes people from the LGBTQIA+ community, those who identify as neurodivergent, individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and people of all abilities.
Florence sees adults aged 18 years and over for face-to-face appointments at Olinda and via telehealth. Dr Morley does not provide inpatient psychiatric services — where inpatient care is required she will support appropriate referral. Florence also does not work with severe substance use disorders or eating disorders as primary presentations.

Areas of interest:
Complex trauma and post-traumatic presentations, neurodevelopmental complexity (including ADHD and ASD in adults), personality presentations and reformulation, dissociative disorders.
Therapeutic approaches:
Collaborative formulation-based assessment and ongoing care, medication management, coordination with allied health clinicians and GPs, and working as part of a broader support network where helpful.

MBBS, St George’s University of London | MPM (Psychiatry) | FRANZCP
Registrations:
Registered Medical Practitioner and Specialist Psychiatrist (AHPRA). Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).
Experience:
Florence completed her medical training at St George’s, University of London, and worked as a doctor in England before moving to Melbourne to undertake specialist psychiatric training. Her clinical experience spans refugee health, perinatal services, inpatient rehabilitation for people living with chronic psychosis, and acute youth inpatient care. She continues to work within the public system at Monash Health and is an adjunct lecturer at Monash University.
Referrals:
A referral from a GP or specialist is required to access Medicare rebates. There is no cap on the number of rebated sessions with a psychiatrist. Florence warmly welcomes referrals from GPs, psychologists, and other treating clinicians. Referrals can be sent to reception@eucalyptuspsychology.com.au or contact reception on (03) 8740 3754. Patients can also complete the online client intake form themselves and upload their referral letter directly within the form, no need for the GP or specialist to contact reception separately.
